Marshall Acton III Bluetooth Speaker – Hendrix Limited Edition

Description

Celebrate the legacy of two icons of rock with the Marshall Acton III Marshall x Hendrix 60th Anniversary Limited Edition, a distinctive home Bluetooth speaker created to honour 60 years since Jimi Hendrix first plugged into a Marshall amplifier. This special edition combines the powerful sound and classic functionality of the Acton III with a bold psychedelic design inspired by Hendrix's style and fascination with space and the cosmos. The Acton III delivers a wide stereo soundstage designed to spread rich, room-filling audio throughout your space. Its acoustic system features a 30W Class D amplifier for the woofer and two 15W Class D amplifiers for the tweeters, producing 60W of total amplification and a frequency range of 45Hz–20kHz. Built-in Dynamic Loudness helps maintain balanced sound at different volume levels, while analogue bass and treble controls let you fine-tune your listening experience directly from the speaker. The Placement Compensation feature analyses reflections within your room and automatically adjusts the sound to suit the speaker's surroundings. The Hendrix Edition features Bluetooth 5.2 for wireless connectivity with a range of up to 10 metres, as well as a 3.5mm input for wired listening. The Marshall Bluetooth app allows you to further customise your sound and access over-the-air software updates. What truly sets this limited edition apart is its design. The speaker is wrapped in crushed velvet, inspired by Hendrix's love of the material, with a silver control panel, purple control knobs and purple LED lights. An all-seeing-eye design appears on the side, while the speaker also features a special power-on/off sound taken from Hendrix recordings.
