Its 45mm full-range driver and passive radiator produce clear music with more low-frequency weight than its compact size suggests, while three built-in lighting modes create a colourful party effect or a softer glow. Place it on a bedside table for low-volume evening music, carry it into a living room for a casual gathering, or use the attached lanyard to move it easily around the home. The black fabric-covered body has a simple modern appearance that works with both colourful lighting and ordinary daytime use. Up to 7 hours of playback supports several listening sessions between charges. USB-C recharging makes it easy to use with a compatible modern charging source. 5W RMS Sound with a Passive Radiator The speaker delivers 5W RMS output and up to 10W maximum power. A 45mm full-range driver handles vocals, instruments and everyday streamed audio, while the passive radiator reinforces bass response without requiring a larger enclosure. The stated frequency range is 160Hz to 18kHz. This is appropriate for a compact portable speaker, with emphasis on clear mids and useful bass presence rather than the deep low frequencies of a large subwoofer system. For the cleanest sound, place the speaker on a stable open surface rather than inside a cabinet or pressed against soft fabric. Excessive volume can reduce clarity, particularly with bass-heavy recordings, so choose a level appropriate for the room. Three Lighting Modes The TAS2307BK/97 includes three lighting effects: a multicolour party mode, a multicolour fading mode and a soft white fading mode. The colourful options can follow a social or relaxed music setting, while the soft white glow can work as gentle ambient light. The illumination is decorative and should not be treated as a primary reading lamp or safety light. Lighting use can also affect practical battery duration, so switch it off when maximum playback time is more important. Up to Seven Hours of Wireless Playback A full battery provides up to 7 hours of playback under specified conditions. Actual runtime varies with volume, lighting mode, Bluetooth conditions, battery age and ambient temperature. Recharge through the USB-C connection using a suitable USB power source. Do not use damaged cables, and avoid charging the speaker in excessive heat or where it may be exposed to moisture. If the speaker will be stored, recharge it periodically rather than leaving the battery completely empty for a long period. Bluetooth for Everyday Devices The speaker connects wirelessly to compatible phones, tablets and computers through Bluetooth. Once paired, it can play music, podcasts, audiobooks and video audio from the source device. Wireless range depends on the device, walls and surrounding interference. Keep the speaker and phone reasonably close and avoid placing large metal obstacles directly between them. Playback controls and source selection remain subject to the connected device. This model is designed primarily for audio playback. A built-in call microphone is not part of the verified specification, so phone-call use should not be assumed. Portable Fabric-Covered Design The fabric exterior softens the appearance and gives the speaker a home-friendly finish. An attached lanyard provides a convenient grip when moving it between rooms or carrying it for short distances. The model does not have a verified water-resistance rating. Keep it away from rain, sinks, showers, pools and wet outdoor surfaces. Clean the fabric gently with a dry soft brush or cloth and never saturate the speaker with cleaning liquid.
